Minor GUI BUG: HLS create project interface

Jump to solution

When you push Finish to create a project… The system takes about 10 seconds to create the project (although slow, that is not the problem). The Finish button remains active, so since it takes so long, the reaction is to press the Finish button again, thinking it must not have been pressed. Once the creation is complete, it accepts the new Finish button request, when then says the project already exists (which now it does). If the Finish button went inactive during the wait, it would give feedback the button was indeed pressed, and avoid the subsequent erroneous message.

A picture is below.

Hope that helps

Hi @xilinxacct,

Your observation is correct the finish switch would not get disabled once it is pressed. Anyhow you can check the project creation from the messages that would be shown at the left bottom side of the HLS window.

@shameera

Thanks for your reply... Yes, I have noticed that.. but on a 4K screen, that is not the obvious center of focus. :-)

I am happy this small issue has been confirmed, and hopefully can easily be address in a future release.

Thanks again
