Access unzip from Vivado TCL

Since Vivado uses zip for such things as .hdf files, I imagine that Vivado TCL has a way to zip/unzip things. Could someone document this so that I can use it in TCL scripts?

Re: Access unzip from Vivado TCL

Hi @vertreko

Would you use "exec" command as system call operation on Vivado TCL ?

This is basic command in TCL.

Best regards,

Re: Access unzip from Vivado TCL

@watari, yes that works and something I've done in the past. However, I'm trying to write a script that relies only on having installed Vivado. The specific problem I have is that I would like to unzip the .zip file that vivado_hls creates when you export hardware in "IP Catalog" format.

i @vertreko

I see.

However I think that it is difficult to find such special command even if tcl is a best way to add new command.

I hope to find what you want to know.

Because of, I'm interesting things, if it is possible.
