Microblaze

Hi all,

 

Using web edition can i create Microblaze.

I think you can create a MicroBlaze based design using the webpack edition. The restriction is on the device

Yes (assuming you target a device supported by WebPack), but you also need the EDK license.

For a really basic MicroBlaze there is support via CoreGen for the MicroBlaze MicroController System (MCS) found under Embedded Processing --> Processor.  This does not require the EDK, but it has very limited options for peripherals and no way to access external memory.  You'd still need to get the SDK to develop software for it.

Hi Naveen,

ISE webpack doesnt support microblaze soft core but supports MCS as Gabor suggested.

Please see the below link for entire set of features supported with ISE Webpack and it specfically mentions the support of these features.
