We are using virtex-6 SX315T fpga and FFT IP core V8.0 is instantiated in the code.
We have a requirement to process input data through FFT at Minimum throughput rate of 1.8 GSPS or 28.8Gbps(for 16 bit width). So, pls let me know,FFT IP core V8.0 supports this frequency or not? OR please suggest me a method to process it.
Did you look at table 25? Page 63, 64, 65? The maximum clock rates are in hundreds of MHz. Not GHz. In a FPGA device, one could build 10 such filters, and have each filter woking on 1/10 the data, to 10X throughput.
Such designs are considered "massively parallel" and may require a very large device (or more than one device).
