TCL works in shell but not in batch

Jump to solution

Hi,

I am trying to use Vivado Lab 2015.4 to measure clock frequencies, my TCL script works fine in GUI and TCL Shell command line, but when I try and run using batch mode it always returns a INPUT_VALUE of 0. Here are the lines from the script that fail:

set a [get_hw_probes clk_ddr_c0m_200M00_p_H14_n_H13]
puts $a
get_property INPUT_VALUE [get_hw_probes $a]
set b [get_property INPUT_VALUE [get_hw_probes $a]]
puts $b

Another thing that someone could help with, in TCL Shell when I enter a command it echos back the measurement value but in batch mode I have to use puts to read the measurement value. Any ideas ?

Thanks

Peter

Fixed!

just needed an "after 3000" before the get_property command

Thanks
