how to get inout port in AXI GPIO IP in Vivado...?

Jump to solution

Hi All,

I need an inout gpio port in my design. I use Vivado 2015.2.1. There is no option for inout in AXI GPIO.

So how can i get an inout gpio port in vivado.....?

Thanks all,

Musthafa

actually axi gpio already supports inout ports in that the output pins have tri-state control so you can connect the out, in & tri pins of gpio to a INOUT pad at the chip level and get the feature you need. Of course inside the chip, there is no inout and the inout signal at the chip boundary has to be converted to in, out & tri-state control signals.
