Hi @xilinxhelpneeded,

We have seen this issue when two different RAMB18 blocks try to lock on same RAMB36 site.

As a workaround

Try to manually place the RAMB18 block to the required sites.

Thanks,
Arpan

Thanks,
Arpan

@xilinxhelpneeded

Can you open the design in FPGA editor and check the nets and their connection to validate the error?

Thanks,
Anusheel

Hi @xilinxhelpneeded

You can assign different block names to the BRAM instances using BLKNM constraints. Refer to page-60,61 of http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx14_4/cgd.pdf

Thanks,

Deepika.
