The demo in the 1-minute video below took place at Embedded World 2016 in Nuremberg, Germany last week in the Xilinx booth. The demo uses a properly equipped 3D Delta printer to play solitaire on a touchpad under the control of a 16nm Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC from Xilinx. This demo illustrates a number of capabilities built into the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, which reads the images from the cameras, recognizes the cards displayed on the touchpad using image-recognition IP, formulates a playing strategy and maps out the moves, and then commands the printer to move and touch the pad according to the formulated strategy. The demo was designed and built by Missing Link Electronics (MLE) in Neu-Ulm, Germany in just a few weeks.
