$55 Zynq-based Wireless Snickerdoodle single-board computer with WiFi, Bluetooth launched today on CrowdSupply

Design house krtkl in San Francisco launched the $55 Zynq-based Snickerdoodle single-board computer today on the CrowdSupply crowdfunding site. It’s already 12% funded with 103 backers and $6705 pledged.

For $55 plus $5 shipping, you get a small board with:

 

  • A Zynq Z7010 SoC (upgradeable to a Zynq Z7020 SoC for $60 more)
  • 512Mbytes of LPDDR2-800 SDRAM (upgradeable to 1Gbyte for $10 more)
  • 16Mbytes of boot Flash memory
  • A MicroSD card slot
  • Built-in 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth (included! MIMO capability costs $15 more)

 

The wireless capabilities allow you to upload projects and configurations to the board using your phone and the Snickerdoodle app.
