Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC ZCU102 Dev Kit demo at Embedded World shows 4K video Targeted Reference Design in action

The 1-minute video below, shot in the Xilinx booth at last week’s Embedded World show, demonstrates a 4K video pipeline implemented as a Targeted Reference Design that will ship with each ZCU102 Dev Kit based on the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC.

 

Aniket Kolarkar, a Xilinx Senior Engineer in SoC Technical Marketing, walks us through the 4K video pipeline, the various filters it implements including Sobel and sharpness, and the Linux SMP OS and FreeRTOS running on the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC’s heterogeneous ARM processor cores.
