Adjusting the FMC_BUS voltage (IRPS5401)

Jump to solution

Hello,

we just purchased the EK-U1-ZCU111-G development board.
Our problem is that the voltage VADJ_FMC (U57, output C) is 1,2V instead of 1,8V. The user guide (https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/boards_and_kits/zcu111/ug1271-zcu111-eval-bd.pdf) says: " The VADJ_FMC rail is programmed to 1.80V by default. " (p.87). In our case this is not true.
Now we have problems testing our hardware because of wrong IO voltages.
Do you have a minimalistic example of how to change this voltage from 1,2V to 1,8V?
We also tried the Power Advantage Tool but with no success.

Best regards,
Arne Schwinning

Hi arne.schwinning@ibeo-as.com ,

Please use SCUI ( Download related files ) and you can change the VADJ Voltage as below:

VADJ_Forum.PNG If you want VADJ to retain its voltage, you have set even after power cycle, use BOOT_UP section to change the VADJ voltage.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

thanks for the fast reply. We figured out that also the register for the VOUT_MODE didn't have the "default" values. And our initial PMBUS adress was wrong.
So now it works.

I will mark this request as solved.

Best Regards,
