Hi there, I connected my Basys3 into my Ubuntu, however no led turned on and my computer does not recognises any device connected to it. Therefore, I'm afraid my FPGA has burned out or my USB-B connector is malfunctioning. Is it possible to change my USB-B part for a new one? Does Xilinx provide any support for this kind of situation? Or will I have to buy another Basys 3?
Best regards, Igor Lima.

Hi,
Is this with Switch 15 in ON and Power Select Jumper 16 in USB?

Hi Igor,
Can you try with a different cable? Connecting directly to a USB port or a Power Supply (like for cell phones)?
Thanks,
Andres

Thank you, Andres. But unfortunately I have tried to connect with a different cable, connect directly to a USB port in another computer and connect to iphone Power Supply as well.

Hi Igor,
At this point, you might be better off contacting Digilent for an RMA.
Look at this Forum post, that looks very similar to your issue:
