FMC Board for PCI (not PCIe) Interface

Has anybody run across a board that converts the FMC to PCI (connector so that PCI boards can be plugged into the FPGA)

Re: FMC Board for PCI (not PCIe) Interface

I have not seen one but I doubt one would exist.  Due to the positioning requirements of FMC relative to the plane and edge of the board I would expect that any FMC to PCI "adapter" would cause the board to violate the PCI mechanical specification.

Re: FMC Board for PCI (not PCIe) Interface

Since this "daughterboard" would actually function as the "mainboard" where I plug PCI cards into it, I don't see where any space constraints would be an issue, but I suspect that this particular application was not envisioned by board designers.
