[ML605] Where can I find verilog sample code for the LCD module on this board?

Hi there,

I got a ML605 board in hand.

I want to use the LCD module to show some words.

Does anybody know where I can find a verilog sample code to activate LCD module?

Thanks!

David

Re: [ML605] Where can I find verilog sample code for the LCD module on this board?

These are some of the most frequently asked questions in this board.

Have you searched this board for answers?

Have you looked in the reference designs?

Have you searched the web?

Re: [ML605] Where can I find verilog sample code for the LCD module on this board?

Hi David,

I doubt there is one. Usually LCD drivers are implemented as a function written in C and running on a processor such as MicroBlaze. There might be a "thin layer" to interface LCD and a processor subsystem, but it's hard to use it to show words.

You can also search for ML605 reference designs. You might also check http://opencores.org

Thanks,

Evgeni

Thanks for your info.

I found a sample code on another website and try to use it on my ML605.

I'll feedback the result if it's working.

Thanks!!

Re: Search works!

The xilinx  official should provide some verilog source code for its development boards, these aspects too bad they do.
