Old OLD old demo looking to get a copy of ml506_pcie_x1_plus.zip?

Jump to solution

I have a little project that needs a PCIe endpoint and I happen to have an un-used and apparently functional ML506 board. Before I go chasing down real FPGA programmer resources, I'd just like to see if this board might be functional. I'm looking for a copy of an old demo ml506_pcie_x1_plus.zip which was built for the ML506.

Only copy of the doc I find is here: http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.227.9235&rep=rep1&type=pdf

It turns out that XAPP859, which is built for ML555 and ML505, will also build and run with ISE 14.7 and ML506 if you just change the FPGA from LX to SX. I whipped out a little user-space Linux driver to dance the described functionality around and I got exactly the performance numbers given in the paper. Kuel.
