Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoc ZCU104 Evaluation Board - GPIO

Hi,

I am currently working on Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoc ZCU104 Evaluation Board, I need to understand the GPIO part (how to initialize and use ), which GPIO pins are available for the user access and which are reserved? The GPIO pin numbers(which can be used directly in the code)? The MIO and EMIO features - are they required in Evaluation Board as well? I actually need to read the status of a gpio pin and write to it. Need an example code to get the clear understanding.

Thanks and Regards

Kiran Ramesh

Hi @r_kiran,

Refer to the board ZCU104 documentation to know more about the available GPIO resources. Also take a look at the Xilinx provided XDC file for the board to know which are the pin numbers for the desired GPIO pins and the IO standard to use for the pins. Use this information to create your test HDL code and custom XDC file for the right pins and implement the design.
