The Zynq Controller on my ZC702 Board stopped working properly one morning. The current status is:
- DS2 LED is permanently red
- Zynq controller gets too hot (could burn a finger tip!)
- JTAG chain is not visible neither in iMPACT nor thru XMD nor with any other JTAG debugger
- the Board boots in QSPI or SD-Card Bootmode up to Linux Prompt
- at Linux Prompt, configuring through xdevcfg fails
Obviously the PL side and the JTAG chain are down. Only PS side is working.
This all happened after trying to get SPI0 working thru EMIO. I had been trying to apply this solution: AR# 47511
And I'm aware of these issues: AR# 53615 and ZC702 intermittent failure problem, (DS2 RED, can't reboot)
Is there anybody else facing the same problem or having any solution?

Have you implemented the fix outlined in AR53615?

If you've applied AR53615 and are still having issues, please file a WebCase.

I have same problem.
Ds2 led is permanently red.
Device is detectable in IMPACT via digilent SM1, but no one cores is detectable on PS JTAG.
The procedure Restoring Flash Content is available. Device very hot. HDMI output is not work.
When loading from SD Card approximately after 20 seconds uart sending message "FSBL, Video hacked version 1.0" - it is all :)
PWRGOOD led is green, all voltages is same as schematic, B2 battery voltage is 2.7V.
AR53615 not resolve this problem. PS_SRST_B signal is "1", when i push SRST_B button it is "0" it works properly
