Think I'm having an issue while trying to run the Qt GUI on the ZC706. I am able to program QSPI, and able to get the TeraTerm terminal up and running. The init.sh script runs but all I see on the HDMI output is a black screen with a mouse cursor in the middle of the screen. I have a keyboard and mouse hooked up to a usb hub that is connected to the USB 2.0 ULPI Controller MIcro-B Connector on the ZC706. Does the board have to be in a PCIe slot in order for the Qt GUI (in PS) to come up?

is it like the windows xp operation system? is the usb driver correctly configured?

Figured it out. In order for the Qt GUI to run properly, it's imperative that the PCIe link is up, which implies that the ZC706 is inserted in a pcie slot, receiving the reference clock.
