ZCU102 VADJ_FMC EEPROM

Dear Sir,

I want to design a FMC daughter card for ZCU102 but it needs to have an EEPROM for adjust the VADJ_FMC power fail.

What data should I program into the EEPROM ?  Does Xilinx has doc descripting the data format ?

Does Xilinx has any suggested part number and manufacturer of this EEPROM ?

What type of tools for programming this EEPROM ? Can I program the EEPROM through ZCU102 ?

Regards,

Teddy.

Hi @teddywhy

The evaluation boards use the EEPROM IPMI format defined in the VITA 57.1 specification. You should refer to Intel's IPMI documentation to know the data format to store to set the right VADJ voltage.

Take a look at one of the FMC board technical reference manual by Trenz which uses a Microchip 24LC128-I/ST 128 kbit EEPROM. You can find other parts too by searching for it.

While searching online this site came up which has a programming tool that could be used to program the EEPROM using ZCU102 and an FMC EEPROM generator for 2 kbit and 64 kbit devices. I haven't used these, so I do know how good they are.
