ZCU104 change vadj for FMC

hi,

i use scui.zip to change vadj for fmc on zcu104 board.But it can not read back voltages.i use both scui2017.4 and scui2019.1.why?

Hello @diannaoyoujian ,

It looks like your board isn't getting detected, so that is the reason why the options are grayed out.

Another user has checked serial ports on the PC and found that unicode characters are included in the COM1 port description: (see pic below).After Uninstalling this COM1 device, then the controller GUI worked fine for a user. So uninstalling the COM device (the one with non-English characters) could be a workaround.

Hi @diannaoyoujian ,

From the snapshot, I observed that the options under Voltages tab are grayed (not editable).

So please check the below points :

1. Verify default Jumper settings on your board from page UG1267.

2. Share the Board snapshot with Power ON to observe Power LED status.

3. Is the FPGA  getting detected through Vivado HW_Manager?

4. Share USB UART Driver Version and OS details. 

Note : For windows 10, please uninstall USB UART Driver version 10.1 and install 6.7 Driver Version(download link for USB UART Driver Version)

5. Share Device Manager screenshot.

hi:

1、Which jumpers do I need to confirm to configure vadj?

2、I took pictures in the attachment about Power LED

3、FPGA can get detected through Vivado HW_Manager。i can see done led,which is normal

4.i use win10 home OS。where can i find my USB UART Driver Version?I downloaded the 6.7 Driver Version and install it,but scui is also work wrong

5、I took pictures in the attachment about my device manager

6、when i press ‘Set IDT Frequency’ button,the options under Voltages tab are grayed (not editable).This is my main problem

hi:

1、i try to delete com1,but it also don‘t work

2、 question:the options are grayed out?

i think the options about voltage are reading through uart(this is my guess)。but I don't know where to set the uart port in BoardUI.exe.

Have you followed these instructions? 

What do you get when you run zcu104_list_ports.bat and do 'echo off', as indicated in the above XTP?
