hblank, vblank, etc to lval and fval

Hey Community,

I was wondering if I was doing this right to convert from blank signals to line valid and frame valid values. Anyone give me a clue since I dont have a reference to test on.

    fval_rgb2grey<=(video_active_video OR video_hblank) AND (NOT video_vblank);

    lval_rgb2grey<=video_active_video;

kind regards,

Miragos

Hi Miragos,

What do you mean by 'am I doing this right' ? The 'right' way depends on the specification for whatever it is you're trying to interface to.

Do you have a sensor part number or something that you're interfacing to?

I am not sure if you need all the extra logic for fval. I think "not vblank" should be enough. lval looks good to me.
