we are developing on an arty board which has the xa7a35t device on board but we think the design is going to become too big in the not too distant future and would like if possible to get an arty board with the bigger xa7a50t device.
Is this possible? Is there another development board for the '50' device? might we have to somehow remove the '35' device and insert the 50? it is BGA so possibly not possible.
thanks in advance for any help

Digilent says that there's an XC7A100T Arty "coming soon"; you could just use that instead.
Desoldering the XC7A35T and soldering on an XC7A50T should be possible, but you'll need some pretty good SMD rework facilities. Soldering a 324-pin BGA is not a task for beginners.

Hello acutts@integralp.com,
Its not recommended to change the on board parts.
It will void the warranty of your board.
Please be careful...!!!
