Memory Editor

I am trying to create a coe file.I generated a xls file using Matlab and then converted it to .csv (comma delimited). When I try to import the file into the memory editor, the memory gets mapped such that multiple data from my csv file are concatenated and placed on a singlw address...the whoe Memory contents turn red..obviously.

Can some one please tell what is the probable problem here?

Re: Memory Editor

Hi,

I don't think memory editor handles "comma" correctly. For workaround, you can put the data in a single column (so it's separated by newline character rather than comma) and memory editor will take in those data and put each line in a new address.

You can also do the editing in a text editor. I use notepad++ and you can just do search and replace for comma (,) and replace it with \r\n. Just make sure you select "extended" as the search mode before you click replace all.
