OSERDESE3 vs OSERDESE2 TQ output

Hello,

What is the difference (if any) between TQ generation in OSERDESE2 and OSERDESE3 (Kintex-7 vs. Kintex Ultrascale)?

ug571-ultrascale-selectio.pdf document shows two attributes OSERDES_D_BYPASS and OSERDES_T_BYPASS, but they are not mentioned in ug974-vivado-ultrascale-libraries document.

Hi @arotenst 

OSERDES_D_BYPASS and OSERDES_T_BYPASS attributes of OSERDESE3 are internal to the VIVADO and not to be used when you instantiate the OSERDESE3.

T input for the OSERDESE3 is to be driven from fabric, this is combinatorial tristate . OSERDESE2 for 7 series supports tristate serialization upto 4:1

Yes there is no difference , both drives the tristate input of output/Inout buffer.
