Xilinx spartan xc2s50

Good day. I had xilinx xc2s50 tq144 lying around, but I just can't figure out how to connect it to a computer. I can not deal with pins. How to flash this micron is possible (the board does not indicate pins on the comb)

Re: Xilinx spartan xc2s50

I wouldn't bother. The Spartan 2 requires ISE 10.1, which was last officially supported on Windows Vista.

Your post isn't very clear - have you got just a bare chip? If so, you will need to design a circuit board to suit it. FPGAs require substantial supporting hardware (multiple power supplies, a clock, external flash to hold the bitstream, a JTAG header, etc) before they're useful. Once that's done, you will need a JTAG programmer. Most of the Spartan 2 boards relied on parallel programmers, which are not supported on any modern PC (due to the lack of a parallel port). The modern replacement is the Platform Cable USB II - which adds about $200 to the cost of getting your FPGA working.

Much better to just scrap it and buy a modern board; you can get a cheap Zynq or Artix development kit (with built-in USB JTAG) for much less than the cost of the Platform Cable USB II. They give you far more resources, far more speed, far better support - and of course they work with Windows 10.

Re: Xilinx spartan xc2s50

I found a board with this controller. There is a comb, but I cannot understand whether it is a comb or not. There is a sea of everything on this lat. I can take a picture of her.
Is there no way to program the board at all?

I have no idea what this sentence means.

A picture would certainly help.

As above: Windows XP or Vista, with a Platform Cable USB II and appropriate wire adaptors should allow you to write programs for it. However, this is unlikely to be worthwhile for such an old chip.

Sorry for my English. I know English bad. I use Google as a translator.
