Earlier this year, we gave you a peek into our collaboration with Ouster, an innovator and worldwide leader in high-resolution light-detection and ranging (lidar) sensors. Today, we’re proud to share more about our breakthrough work together to further lidar technology.
With automotive-tech playing an increasingly larger role at CES, Xilinx made certain to be visible throughout the week-long event. At this year’s show, we were on a roll, issuing several news announcements relative to Xilinx technology enabling artificial intelligence (AI) acceleration, automated driving (AD) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) with our automotive partners and customers. Our products were also featured in demos on the show floor.
This week at the Xilinx Developer Forum keynote in Frankfurt, Ivo Bolsens, Xilinx CTO, was joined on stage by Thomas Kaelberer, Manager of Intelligent Interior at Daimler. During the exchange, Daimler revealed for the first time additional details around its technical collaboration with Xilinx first revealed in June of this year.
