Your rank is special. It symbolizes your influence and reputation in our community. When a user first joins as a member, they receive a “newbie” rank. As members spend time signed in to the community performing action-based activities such as but not limited to reading or creating posts, kudos, and tagging as they level-up in rank.

Q: What is the Superuser Program?
A: At Xilinx, we want to recognize the superusers that have gone above and beyond to help their peers and are the integral pillars that helped cultivate powerful communities. The Xilinx Superuser Program was designed to bring together the most active and influential members in the Xilinx Community Forums to share their technical knowledge of Xilinx products and technologies, and to collaborate over innovative ideas. Our Superusers are an important part of our Community who are helpful, knowledgeable, and technical.
Q: Who are the Superuser members?
A: Superusers are not Xilinx staff, they are customers or enthusiasts like you who have earned a special title in the Community. These members love being here as much as we do.
Q: How are Superuser members identified in the Community?
The new program introduces 3 types of membership and will run on an annual basis from one year to the next. Members are selected based on their overall community activity, product knowledge, and expertise.
A: You can identify all of our Superuser members by their distinctive avatars.
Alumni: Superuser members who voluntarily leave group or are inactive in community for 12 months or longer.
All-Stars: Established set of elite members.
Superstars: Newly joined members with the potential to level-up to All-Stars and gain more
Q: What can I do to increase my likelihood of getting selected?
A: The best way is to continue being an active and helpful contributor on the Forums. Behaviors include answering questions, giving and receiving Kudos, marking replies as Accepted Solutions, and tagging helpful content to promote find-ability.

Note: Xilinx Superusers are selected on a yearly basis and need to re-qualify annually. All membership requests will be vetted by the Xilinx Community Forums Management Team against the behaviors noted in the FAQ. You will be contacted directly by a Community Manager throughout the process.

Earning badges and receiving notifications:
Upon earning a new badge you will be notified through the email associated with your Xilinx Community Forums account. You can update the frequency of your notifications through My Settings selecting the Subscriptions & Notifications tab > My Subscriptions > Notification Settings. If you earn a badge while logged into the community a real-time notification will appear in the upper right-hand corner of your browser window.
Badge preview in your profile page:
A preview of your earned badges will appear at the top of your profile page. To view all the badges you have earned in the community select "View All" which will display the "All Badges" page. Each badge displayed includes the badge icon, badge name, date earned, and a count of other community members who earned the same badge. When you hover over the badge icon the badge description will display.
