Is there a LogiCORE available to compute exponentials?

Currently there is not a core for this application. You can implement this function by using mathematical equation.

Hello!

Because of my undergraduate thesis project  I need to make a FPGA implantation of a Neural Network .I need to make a implementation of a exponential function.  Do you know how to make a implementation of  a exponential function?

Thank you for your attention.

Hi

There isn't a exp core but there are a couple of options

1. You can use tools like system generator and use matlab to create your exponential lookup table and then intialise a BRAM in sysgen with your exp table

2. just use Matlab to create the exp table and create a COE file. This file can then be used with Coregn and the ISE tools to create a look up table
