Alternative Zynq loading option

Hello,

In my Zynq project, I manage the booting from jtag or from qspi by switch MIO[5] to 0(for JTAG Boot mode) or to 1 (for QSPI boot mode). This is inconvenient, because requires a switch. The JTAG mode is used for debugging projects in Xilinx SDK and for flashing QSPI-Boot flash memory. QSPI Mode is used for normal operation. Is there another solution to not use the switch while retaining all the functionality of debugging, programming, and normal operation?

Thanks.

Re: Alternative Zynq loading option

Hi,

In QSPI Mode, you can also use JTAG. Don't need to switch JTAG mode for debug and fast loading, testing possible.

Maybe you can stay QSPI mode,it supports all properties of Jtag.

Best Regards
