Configuration address range determination

Hi,

   I am wondering if there is a way to determine the address range used on the Flash chip for configuration knowing the MCS/PRM files.   I see in the PRM file there is an Addr1 and Addr2 field, but after programming the Flash chip and reading it manually back I see it has written data 24 bytes past the Addr2 address.

  I ask because I am wanting to utilize some of the unused space on the flash chip for hardware number identification and need to know what space isn't used so I can make sure to not overwrite any necessary data.

  For reference, I am using Vivado/SDK 2018.1 and am developing for Kintex and Artix 7 chips.

while flash programming the flash gets reset and data gets stored from initial address.

while it's possible to edit the start address the end address will be equivalent of the file size. so you can calculate or estimate what will be the end address by considering file size and start address.
