Polarity : Negative Sine negative cosine

I need to create an I and Q modulator with the DDS module; so I chose the option "Output Selection" -> "Sine and Cosine". I would like to know what the options Polarity -> Negative Sine and Negative Cosine mean

Output values of sine and cosine will be negated

-sin(x)=sin(x+pi)

-cos(c)=cos(x+pi)
