removing the IP parameters in the IPI does not update the xgui TCL file

Hi All,

There is an issue related to the removal of the IPI top parameters.

When a top-level parameter is removed from the IP in the IP Packager, the /xgui/$ip.tcl file is not getting this parameter removed.

As a result, customization of the IP on the main BD canvas gives an error in the TCL's init_gui procedure. The workaround to just manually remove the parameters from the $ip.tcl

This may be a minor bug, so I want to report it.

Regards

Vlad

Hi Vlad,

Does repackaging help in updating the parameters? If not, this seems a bug.

Please confirm.

Hi Sikta,
Repackaging does not help. It repackages the IP without issues, but when 2x click on the canvas's IP gui, it gives an error about not being able to initialize init_gui TCL proc.
