integrating planahead with EDK

Hi,

   i am using V-6 sx315t device.i attended Xilinx training for planahead.and i felt that planahead is useful than ISE.

 

1.so For this new device i created the project in Plan ahead.

2.in my design i have axi based EDK system.i have generated the netlist in edk and added the system ngc file to the 

   planahead project(referred to planahead user document).

3.For implementation it was telling missing some cores which are under edk system,if i add those files also its saying

  samething.

4.Is this is proper procedure for integrating edk to planahead

 

i referred to some planahead tutorials,i didnt get the info proply..

 

can u please help me with this..thanks in advance

What version of the software are you using? 

Integration was greatly improved in the 14.x releases.

 

If you are using 13.x you could refer to the Partial Reconfiguration EDK/PlanAhead guide and just ignore the bits about PR:

@the recommeneded way is to add system.xmp file directly into your planahead project. As @tanders suggested, the integration of EDK into PA has improved quite a bit in the latest PlanAhead (i.e. 14.2).

Hi previously i was using 13.4.in that version there is no provision to add system.xmp to the project.i installed 14.3 and tried to implement its passing ...
