FlashWriter CFI query of block/sector map returned inconsistent result!

Hi all,

I am unable to use SDK 14.7 to program the BPI flash on the KC705. I keep geting the error : "CFI query of block/sector map returned inconsistent result!". If I export the same edk_hw_platform to SDK 14.4 then it works no problem.

Yes, I can load bitstream using SDK 14.7 and I can even Query the flash from XMD console on the SDK 14.7 and I get :

XMD% mwr 0x68000000 0x98
XMD% mrd 0x68000000 0x10

68000000:   89620089
68000004:   FFFF0001
68000008:   F94F0089
6800000C:   FFFF0004
68000010:   00890089
68000014:   00010001
68000018:   00890089
6800001C:   00890089
68000020:   00520051
68000024:   00010059
68000028:   000A0000
6800002C:   00000001
68000030:   00000000
68000034:   00170000
68000038:   00850020
6800003C:   00090095

I've searshed the net for solution and even tryied inverting bit order of data and address bus but no luck.

Your help is appreciated.

Thank you in advence.

Re: FlashWriter CFI query of block/sector map returned inconsistent result!

Similar question! I can’t program my flash PC28F256M29EWH using Program Flash tool of SDK 14.7. I get the same error: "CFI query of block/sector map returned inconsistent result!". Flash seems to work just fine using XMD console. I can query it and get proper results (matches that from datasheet), erase the chip, etc.
