Emulate Ubuntu Desktop on ZC702 with QEMU

Is it possible to emulate ubuntu desktop 16.04 (Ubuntu with GUI) or any other linux distribution with GUI support on ZC702 with QEMU? I have searched in some forums and I found it is possible to run ubuntu desktop on ZC702 physical board but I do'nt have board currently and I need to emulate it first...Any suggestion or toturial link? What about qemu-kvm?

Hi @madking,

To be honest I've never saw it before but I guess it should be possible. From Xilinx point of view we do not have any example or guideline on using graphical interface on the QEMU machine so you might need to look into more resources non Xilinx related.
