Re: How to add vhdl code in to microblaze?

Hey @z0x0c0v0b0b

I presume here, that you want to extend the MicroBlaze design and not just wrap up your VHDL code in a tar archive and store it in the MicroBlaze memory ...

There are several options here:

  • Use existing peripherials to exchange data and extend the functionality
  • Create a MicroBlaze peripherial (connected via PLB or OPB)
  • Create a user defined coprocessor/accelerator (connected via FSL)
  • Modify the MicroBlaze HDL code to extend functionality

Hope this helps,

Herbert
