SDK : USING Xil_Out32,Xil_In32...........

Hi Everyone,

I am using Xil_Out and Xil_In Function to read and write the address,

But I dont really know " What is the return value ? like Hex , Oct , Dec , Bin ,

Who can know the answer,please tell me,

There is no way to use xil_printf to directly display bianary (and I think printf in general). But you can always find a workaround. For example:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/111928/is-there-a-printf-converter-to-print-in-binary-format

When you need more information on how a function is working, you usually check the definition of this function. Here it would be in:

What is a returned value? An 32-bit unsigned word.

Is it bin, hex,...? This is really C basic, you might want to look back into your courses note. This is just a value in memory.

I just know about %x = Hex,%d= Decimal,

I can't use %b=binary,I want to convert it,

Thank your answer,

When I using:
Xil_In32(0x400000000);
xil_printf("%d",...); --> convert the value Decimal 
xil_printf("%x",...); --> convert the value Hexan 
I dont know how to convert  a value into Binary  ?
