import pdf file in SDK (2018.3)

In SDK 2018.3 attempting to import a hardware specification via <file/new/other/Hardware Platform Specification>

Doesn't seem to work as the hardware selection window only allows .xml files. Vivado only generates an hdf file.

Is there a change to this flow for 2018.3

Sorry about that subject line. I didn't note the spell correction until it was too late

If I export the harware from Vivado, Then select lauch sdk and point to the export directory everything seems to work.

It appears then that this is a GUI bug in SDK under linux.
