AR #31297 in Linux

Hi

It seems to me that the lltemac linux driver (the old one) has not applied the change mentioned in the AR #31297. Although this driver is not in the mainline and is not the future way, it should be updated in the git, shouldn't it. Specially when it is said that the new driver yet doesn't perform as well.

I read the answer record and yes it would be good to apply it to the git tree, but I don't see that there was any record of a problem it solved.

It seems like someone found some code that could be better, but I didn't see evidence that it was breaking, but maybe I missed it somewhere.

At this point it's just a time issue to apply it, but also to retest it afterward to make sure not breakage.

Thanks.

I reread that AR and it does solve a problem.  I'll try to patch the driver in the tree when I have time.

Thanks.
