Boot failure: /sbin/init exists but couldn't execute it (error -8)

Hi,

I am trying to do SD boot in my xilinx board. The filesystem is configured to reside in SD card.

The SD card has two partitions with FAT32 (labeled as BOOT) and ext4 (labeled as rootfs) format for each partition.

BOOT.BIN and image.ub are contained in FAT32 partion.

The rootfs.tar.gz is untarred to the ext4 partition.

But I am not able to boot successfully. Please find the boot log below.

I assume that
