C ++ code compatiblity wtih ARM Cortex A53 in XCZU4EG with other A-53 processor

Jump to solution

We have some C++ code used to run in another ARM Cortex-A53 processor(Rapsberry Pi 3B+), we hope to move that C++ code into XCZU4EG (also ARM Cortex-A A53) side.

These C++ code purely computation within ARM A-53 processor nothing to do with peripheral devices, only run for some vision algorithm based on ARM Compute Library, which is said to only rely on ARM NEON Instruction set.

Can these A -53 code be reused in XCZU4EG A-53 processor?

HI @tomshan_MATLAB

Yes, you ca run the  same compiled C++ code for both the boards as long as  if you you are using the same toolchain for building C++ application & Linux, rootfs on both the boards.

Thanks & regards
