How to disable root login in petalinux?

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to disable (lock) the root account in petalinux?

I found the option to set the root password in petalinux-config -c rootfs but cannot find how to disable or lock the acount.

And a related question: Why is chpasswd removed from the included busybox? And how should one get it back?

Thanks,

Maarten

Re: How to disable root login in petalinux?

I want to disable root access until my startup script has completed and then unlock the root account and set the password.
