I want to test the ethernet ports on zc706 and iperf3 has not given benchmark results. How can i get netserver into petalinux ? Does yocto provide netserver or netperf package? Thanks in advance.

Probably easiest via the meta-networking recipes.
Does yocto provide netserver or netperf package?
There seems to be an import from OpenEmbedded for netperf available for yocto.

Ah.. do i need licence for this to use it in petalinux?
Nothing RPROVIDES 'netperf' (but /home/projects/peta2017.1-zcu102/zc706/ptlnzc706/project-spec/meta-plnx-generated/recipes-core/images/petalinux-user-image.bb RDEPENDS on or otherwise requires it) ERROR: netperf was skipped: because it has a restricted license not whitelisted in LICENSE_FLAGS_WHITELIST

For reference: you can add to meta-user/conf/petalinuxbsp.conf
IMAGE_INSTALL_append = "netperf"
However, a few months ago netperf has moved to gihub and the FTP server has been shut down.
To fix this, replace the recipe in <petalinux_inst_dir>/components/yocto/source/aarch64/layers/meta-networking/recipes-support/netperf/ with the netperf_git.bb from
for the license issue see
(This was working with PetaLinux 2017.4)
