Trying to use XSDK to modify a Petalinux-tools 2014.4 created Application

Jump to solution

Hi,

I have built a simple app that I want to expand using a graphics based development environment with a context

sensitive editor.

I have tried to import my App into the XSDK using "Import Existing User Application/Library"

Unfortunately this creates a set of default include paths that refer to the old Petalinux directory structure,

which appears quite different to the current one.

I was wondering what tools do other people use to develop medium sized Applications in Petalinux?

I can't imagine you are still using things like vi.

You can develop the Petalinux applications in SDK.

When creating a new project, you just need to provide the toolchain path.

How do you navigate to "Import Existing User Application/Library?" I'm not having an luck finding it in 2015.2. I can import "Existing Code as Makefile Project" and I can create a new "Application Project", but I don't see how to import an existing Petalinux application.
