Update U-boot from 2017.1 to 2019.1

Hello,

For one of my client I have to update u-boot from 2017.1 to 2019.1, compilation is fine but I don't any output on the UART anymore,

Any advice to debug u-boot UART? There were probably many changes in 2 years... :(

For info It's a custom board based on Zynq7000 and I use Xilinx SDK 2017.4 to flash trought JTAG.

Cheers,

Trigger

Re: Update U-boot from 2017.1 to 2019.1

HI @trigger

Are your getting any fsbl logs. if so please share that logs.

Note: Please make sure vivado & petalinux should be same version. It should not use both diffrent versions.

Thanks & regards

Aravind

Re: Update U-boot from 2017.1 to 2019.1

Hello @stephenm @aravindb

You are right, my post need to be clearer.

For security reason I have to update u-boot from 2017.1 to 2019.1.

@aravindb I don't use petalinux, I made all with meta-xilinx and Yocto (zeus branch)

@stephenm for a first step I using picozed-defconfig file

No error during Nand flash process.

Do you think I have to change something inside the device-tree(dts) ?

Cheers,

Trigger
