problem in using 'cat' command

Hi All,

I written an led device driver for linux running on PowerPC (XUPV2P board).

I'm able to send data to led device using following command

    ]$ echo -ne $'\x10\x10\x10\x15' > /dev/led

But, when I run 'cat' command as below, it always read 0x00000000.

    ]$ cat /dev/led

Can anyone through some light on this problem?

Re: problem in using 'cat' command

Is your GPIO that is connected to the LED configured to be bi-directional so that it can be an input and output?
