simpleImage.xilinx

  > make ARCH=microblaze simpleImage.xilinx

I have the problem:

make: microblaze-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc: Command not found
scripts/kconfig/conf --silentoldconfig Kconfig
make: microblaze-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc: Command not found
CHK include/linux/version.h
CHK include/generated/utsrelease.h
CC kernel/bounds.s
/bin/sh: microblaze-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc: command not found
make[1]: *** [kernel/bounds.s] Error 127
make: *** [prepare0] Error 2

I don't know where I was wrong ? I did set the path to access tools and setup the environment variable for the Linux kernel build process with the following commands:

export PATH=<dir where the tools are untarred>/microblaze-unknown-linux-gnu/bin:$PATH

        export CROSS_COMPILE=microblaze-unknown-linux-gnu-

Thanks for your help!

I don't see anything obviously wrong, did you try to run the tools from the command line to verify it works (>microblaze-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc)?

Sir, I came accross the same problem.  But I am pretty sure "microblaze-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc" exists, and please see the attached picture:

I was wondering why I still get this error...

Although I am a newbie, I feel responsible for my own question. I figure out the solution to the above problem.

The solution can be found here
