zynqmp gic pl390: architecture version and driver

Hello!

I am getting along with zynqmp, reading the docs and trying to make use of gic of the RPU - PL390  (the gic400 of APU is out of the topic).

The Zynqmp Register Reference says that there is a 'RPU GIC Interrupt Controller; GICv1'. However, the names of registers come from GICv2, and If I seek Information for specific register in the Register Reference, It says: 'Refer to the Arm Generic Interrupt Controller Architecture Specification 2.0 for a detailed register descriptions.'

Also, the TRM says It's GICv1, but the registers do not seem to be of  v1.

I am confused, what is it about? Also, If information about architecture is mistaken, How can I know if the addresses of registers are correct?

I would like to use 'scugic' driver. Is it bound to specific architecture of gic?
Well, I think the most important thing here is the version of gic, and If I know this, I will probably know the rest.

It's a pity that the forum does not have a board that would fit this topic. I am posting here because I think 'Xilinx Open Source Components' topic has the most in common with this question, from all boards on this forum. However, If this is at wrong board, please notify me.

The RPU uses the Arm PL-390 which is compliant to the GICv1, APU uses GIC400 and is compliant to the GICv2.
If you are using the Xilinx driver, it will use the correct architecture of gic per selected CPU.
Some registers are common to the v1 and v2, so the same register name might be used.

If you cannot find the registers description, please try to use the different name listed in “Table B-1 Replacement names for the registers in the Distributor” of Arm Generic Interrupt Controller Architecture Specification.
