Why secure boot not possible in eMMC boot

We are currently designing a board based on Zynq 7000 in which we need 64GB flash.

Secure boot is mandatory for our customer.

We have two options infront of us

1) q-SPI + eMMC

2) SD Card

Query:1

Xilinx doc says that eMMC mode does not have secure boot option for partitions in eMMC because "U-Boot does not support RSA Authentication"

But in other cases like NAND boot and SD boot this limitation is not mentioned.

What is the difference in U-Boot in eMMC boot scenario?

Why secure boot is not possible in eMMC booting?

Query2:

Another option is to use SD Card with 64GB memory. But exFAT is not supported by Linux. If we format the SD card as ext3 or VFAT, does Zynq supports booting from these filesystems in a 64GB card.

Our basic requirement is to have a Secure Boot and 64GB Storage.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Why secure boot not possible in eMMC boot

qspi + eMMC = possible supported by second stage bootloader

SD = you need have primary partion so that zynq bootrom can access it, after that in secondary bootloader you can use any file system

unfortunatly there are no readily made solutions, so you end up in lots of custom software coding

Is there any constraints on secure booting...
