About bandwidth of aurora in full-duplex mode

We are using aurora x4 to connect two FPGAs. Each lane runs at 3Gbps. So, total bandwidth is 1.5GB/s. Now I need to transfer data between the FPGAs bidirectionally at 800MB/s(simultaneously). Is this feasible?

Re: About bandwidth of aurora in full-duplex mode

So, you are looking to use 1.5GB/s cable link as 800MB/s. This would mean TX_TVALID should be valid only around 53.333% of the time.

Control the TX_TVALID to be asserted to match the 800MB/s.
